Dr. B.J. Pomerants is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He currently practices at Dublin Surgery Center, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Riverside Methodist Hospital, and Doctors Hospital. He currently serves as the Chief of Surgery at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Dr. Pomerants is also on the teaching staff of Doctors Hospital and on the staff of Select Specialty Hospital.
Dr. Pomerants is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. This includes laparoscopic surgery of the gallbladder, colon, and appendix, as well as laparoscopic hernia repair. He has special interest in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Dr. Pomerants is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Riverside Methodist Hospitalwhere he served as chief resident. He has over 15 years of general surgery experience and has been named in America’s Top Physicians 2010 and 2011. He currently resides in Columbus with his wife and their three children.
