Dr. David P. Reed is a specialist in rectal surgery and colorectal endoscopy.  He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.  His surgical training was performed at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio where he completed a Proctology Residency.

Along with his private practice in Hilliard, Ohio, Dr. Reed has lectured to the American Osteopathic College of Proctologists and the American College of Osteopathic Surgical Specialists.  Dr. Reed was recently appointed program chair and coordinated the curriculum for his specialty at the American College of Osteopathic Surgical Specialists.  Dr. Reed has also been a guest lecturer for local family practice societies as well as medical students at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ohio University, and Grandview Medical Center in Dayton.

Dr. Reed has performed countless procedures including, colonoscopies, hemorrhoidectomies, pilonidal cystectomies, fistulectomies, fissurectomies and is well versed in the latest methods for hemorrhoids, which includes painless banding procedures, infrared coagulation, and sclerotherapy.

Dr. Reed is married to his wife of 10 years who is also a physician.  Together they have 2 daughters.
